We're pleased to report that our first European APPX Conference proved to be a success! The feedback that we've received from attendees indicates that it was educational, entertaining and provided an excellent opportunity for networking within the international APPX community. And with American, British, Canadian, Dutch, Irish, Mexican, South African and Swiss participants it was certainly an international gathering! Thanks to all who made the trip (from far and near) to Amsterdam - your efforts are much appreciated.

Praclox Software - Document Integration with Word Ruud Gimbergh from Praclox ran a very slick live demonstration showing the powerful Document Integration capabilities of the Praclox applications. The integration of the Praclox APPX applications with desktop products allows all incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, faxes, Word documents, etc.) relating to a specific file to be store electronically thus resulting in what is commonly referred to as a 'paperless office'. Once stored, all documentation for a particular file can be retrieved at the press of a button and then printed, faxed or emailed onwards as required. For outgoing correspondence, Praclox uses templates that can be easily maintained in MS Word. The generated documents are not created from an APPX output as you might expect, rather, they are generated directly in MS Word based on data extracted from APPX. This seamless integration with the popular word processor is highly valued by Praclox's customers. Ruud also demonstrated the extensive use of HTML text boxes throughout the Praclox applications, which led Steve Frizzell to remark "it's good to see that you're using everything that we provide for you in APPX". Since Ruud's presentation was a live demonstration, there isn't a PowerPoint presentation available.
