Genealogy

The Vail Genealogy system keeps track of Birth records, baptisms, partnerships, death, physical description, where people have lived, military records, notes, sources and more. Move through the system by double clicking on father, mother siblings, children etc. Includes Pedigree charts and a Photograph and document subsystem. Each photograph scanned in can be cross-referenced to the individuals in it, provenance, location time and hold a brief description of the pictures. When an individual is called up a picture can be displayed of that individual. At that point all pictures and documents can be displayed. Also includes a Bibliography section to keep track of sources such as books, magazines, etc. These can be cross referenced by names, location, etc. An open ended address system that not only keeps track of city/towns, counties, etc, but can also go down to buildings, streets, any level the user desires. The address system also can link to another address record for prior names, seat of government, etc. Also includes Census records. Where each census has been designed to meet the peculiarities of each census. Also provides for the capture of Military data. Among other things automatically linking to the 1890 census and other sources which dealt with military issues. Includes a Cemetery subsystem.

Manufacturing

PROD*SY Corporate Software is a comprehensive, enterprise-wide set of applications which provide complete business control. The system is unique amongst software solutions in that it includes source code and is therefore flexible, customizable and adaptable. These features allow the forward- thinking company to gain a competitive edge rather than be circumscribed by the enterprise software.

The manufacturing suite of applications provides the enterprise with a much needed control of manufacturing functions. From the establishment of manufacturing databases for Bills of Material and Standard Routings, in addition to the standard of Lot/Location Inventory Control, these applications perform the Cost Rollup functions, Master Production Scheduling, Requirements Planning and subsequent Production Job Tracking. For those manufacturers who are more 'project' oriented, the Corporate Software includes applications which monitor all of those one-time activities.

DISTRIBUTION The distribution suite of applications begins with Sales Orders, integrated with Inventory Control and Purchase Orders to keep optimum inventory levels. As sales are made, shipments are controlled and fed automatically into an online Sales Analysis application. When inventory is low, the Purchase Orders application provides the necessary control to guide the re-ordering procedures. As shipments are posted for invoicing, information is automatically posted to Accounts Receivable, Sales Analysis and Commission Accounting for subsequent analysis and processing.

ACCOUNTING The accounting suite of applications establishes the basis for all business accounting in the form of the General Ledger, with its Account Number Structure, levels of posting detail and balance requirements for optimum management control. Accounts Payable tracks liabilities from a Vendor perspective, with history of purchases and payment control through flexible check processing. Accounts Receivable allows the manager in control to store complete Customer information, track credit worthiness, age invoices due and apply cash in an orderly manner. If integrated with the Project Cost Analysis application, custom one-off job costing is able to be fed automatically from both Payables (for expenses) and Receivables (for billings).
