![]() Menu Wallpaper The first step is to set the wallpaper we want to display on the menu. This is done through a new 'GUI Attributes' popup window at the Menu level. These GUI attributes can be specified at the Frame and Image level of both Menus and Input processes. Here is the screen as we would fill it in for our menu: ![]()
The Titlebar Options allow us to specify how we want the heading on the menu displayed. We can choose the Font, Style, Justifications, Scale and colour. In our example, we're just going to let the text that's already typed on the menu act as our heading. In the Window Options section, we specify a Wallpaper Tiling Mode of 'EXPAND' to make sure our graphic will fill the image. In the 'Resources' box, we fill in the name of the resource that identified the graphic we want displayed, MAIN MENU in this case. We have also checked the options to have a Help, Ok, and Close button displayed on our Titlebar. The 'Name' field is interesting. If we give a name to this group of attributes, we can manipulate these attributes at runtime via ILF code. Next, we would remove all text from the menu image, since it's going to be replaced by the graphic. If we left the text on the image, then the buttons would appear to 'float' over the image, which might be fun to look at, but it's not what we want here. The next step is to define some buttons on the hot spots of our menu graphic.
