APPX Software, Inc has announced that the location and time of their next VAR conference will be changed. The cruise planned for April 10-14th, 2003, has been cancelled due to insufficient turnout, scheduling conflicts with key ASI staff, and concerns about the illnesses occurring on recent cruises. The conference will still be held, but the location will likely change to Jacksonville. We will announce further details as they become available.
SPEED II Promotion Continues
If you (or your customers) are still running SPEED II but would like to migrate to APPX then it's not too late to take advantage of the SPEED II to APPX promotion which is still running (though for a limited time).
This promotion offers supported SPEED II customers (i.e. customers who have annual maintenance coverage in force) the opportunity to trade-in their existing SPEED II licence for an APPX licence. A SPEED II licence can be traded in for an APPX licence of up to equal value, based on the current APPX Price List for a flat fee of just US$500.
The Speed II to APPX Conversion Utility, which enables you to migrate your SPEED II applications and data from SPEED II to APPX, is provided at no charge. The COPYAPPX Utility, to assist in moving applications and data from your Wang VS to your chosen APPX platform, is also provided at no charge. In addition, the pro-rated value of any unused portion of your SPEED II maintenance coverage may be applied towards the purchase of the first year's maintenance on the new APPX Licence.
