Back in 1975, Howard Bing and two partners formed Tom Software, Inc., which was the "original" predecessor company to APPX Software. They successfully developed the Speed I application development utility and a suite of software accounting applications that ran on the first mini-computer from Wang Laboratories. SPEED I morphed into SPEED II and was then re-written into the multi-platform, database-independent APPX product that we know today. As the sole international distributor of APPX, CWI looks forward to welcoming Caylx's resellers and customers to its network and to further expanding the APPX worldwide customer base. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Howard and his team every success in their future endeavours and to thank them for their contribution to the APPX community.
