Release 4.1.a Now Available

APPX Release 4.1.a is now available on our download page for all new and supported customers. This release addresses a wide variety of client and server issues, offering improvements and corrections to various RDBMS interfaces, repairs to reported memory leaks, and various bug fixes. Details are included in the Release Notes.

All APPX customers are urged to upgrade to the newest release. Customers with annual Software Update Coverage are entitled to new releases at no charge, as are all new customers within the first 90 days.

If your Software Update Coverage has expired, contact your VAR for details on your options.

APPX Manuals Available for Download

The complete set of APPX manuals (User, Administrator and Designer) are available for download. These manuals are in Microsoft Windows Help format (a .chm file). They are still in draft form, but are essentially complete. If you find any mistakes or problems, please report them to your VAR or Distributor.

New Pricing for APPX/Windows

Interested in purchasing a single-user APPX for Windows licence? Then you'll be pleased to hear that the cost of a single-user APPX licence for Windows has been substantially reduced. You can now purchase a single-user APPX for Windows licence, including a Design Right and the APPX-ODBC Connection, for just US$500. Previously, this licence would have cost $1300.

If you require only an APPX runtime licence (perhaps to enable you to run your applications on a standalone machine) then you can purchase a runtime only licence for US$100. Contact your local APPX Reseller for details of how you can purchase a single-user APPX for Windows licence.
